About Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction

Learn how to take better care of yourself by exploring the interplay of mind and body - and mobilizing your own inner resources for coping, growing and healing.  The original 8-week MBSR training brings a form of meditation known as mindfulness into the mainstream.

In the MBSR program, you will learn to access and cultivate your natural capacity to actively engage in caring for yourself and find greater balance, ease, and peace of mind.

Who can benefit?

MBSR is highly respected within the medical community. Offered as a complement to traditional medical and psychological treatments, not as a replacement, it is proven to be effective in helping to live and work with the conditions shown here.  Perhaps the greatest benefit of learning mindful awareness practice is coming to kindly trust your own inner resources for meeting life's ups and downs.
