This is a course for anyone who often thinks or worries about food and weight loss, or whose eating behavior feels unhealthy, out of control or unsatisfying.  Using the principles of Intuitive Eating and consistent practice of mindfulness, old habits weaken, making space for new ways of relating to food and the body.

About Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction

Learn how to take better care of yourself through the interplay of mind and body - and mobilizing your own inner resources for coping, growing and healing.  The original 8-week MBSR training brings a form of meditation known as mindfulness into the mainstream.

In the MBSR program, you will learn to access and cultivate your natural capacity to actively engage in caring for yourself and find greater balance, ease, and peace of mind.

Who can benefit?

MBSR is highly respected within the medical community. Offered as a complement to traditional medical and psychological treatments, not as a replacement, it is proven to be effective in helping to treat the conditions shown here.  Perhaps the greatest benefit of learning mindful awareness practice is coming to kindly trust your own inner resources for meeting life's ups and downs.
